A LITTLE HELP

We’re here for you.

Something not quite right in your little world? Write to hello@fernhour.com. Include your device and what happened, so we can help.

Where can I play Fernhour?

The current Android game is available on Google Play. You can also play the browser prototype today.

What is the new edition in the trailer?

Our latest trailer shows the new native edition being prepared for iOS and Android store review. It is not yet the Android edition available today. It starts a new world and does not import progress or purchases from the earlier game. You can join the waitlist for updates. Joining does not create a game account or grant access to the upcoming edition.

The next sections cover the new native edition, including its optional accounts, cloud saves and movement features. Help for the earlier apps, browser game and web purchases follows below.

New native edition: where is my progress saved?

You can play as a guest with saves on this device. For optional Google or Apple sign-in, open World → Settings & account → Account and cloud saves. Signing in keeps your current world in place until you choose an account world or save a copy of your guest world with your account. There is no save-file export or import screen in this edition.

The last saved world you explicitly chose can reopen offline, including an account world. Sign in to the same account when you want to sync it. If the app cannot safely open a saved world, it keeps the files and offers recovery from the separate guest world. Signing out disconnects cloud access but keeps your current local world open; it does not delete your progress or account.

What happens when I sign in on another device?

Your guest world stays separate. Open Account and cloud saves to find your account world. If device and cloud progress differ, choose which complete world to keep; acorns and items are not added together. Finish or end your current session before changing worlds. Saved focus history, intentions, tasks, manual care check-ins, furniture, acorns, your chosen companion and furniture wish can sync. Active and paused timers, device preferences and imported health activity stay on their original device.

How do I delete my account or local activity?

Open World → Settings & account → Account and cloud saves → Delete my account. A recent sign-in and typed confirmation are required. After the server confirms deletion, Fernhour removes that account’s world and imported workout summaries from this device. Your separate guest world and other local account worlds remain. If interrupted, reopen the account screen to check deletion status and finish local cleanup. You can also visit our account deletion page for help. Clearing app storage alone does not delete a cloud account.

To remove only imported workout summaries, open World → Movement → Remove saved activity. This does not remove records from Apple Health or Health Connect.

Does my timer keep going when I leave?

Yes. A running session keeps its original finish time when you switch apps or lock your phone. When you return, Fernhour saves up to the time you chose. A paused session stays paused.

Optional alerts are under World → Settings & account → Timer reminders. They start off and need notification permission. A reminder does not save or award progress itself. Your phone’s notification and Focus settings apply. Android uses approximate timing unless you explicitly enable optional precise timing; reminders can arrive late. Delivery after a reboot or force-stop is not guaranteed.

How do I earn new things?

The new native edition starts with Pip, an empty cottage and zero acorns. Each full 30 seconds of saved focus earns one acorn. A complete 15-minute session earns 30 acorns, and your first cushion costs 25. Choose a furniture wish, focus toward it, then open Pockets to buy and place it. There are nine furnishings to earn, including a garden bench for the woodland outside.

Finish three full focus sessions of at least a minute to welcome Clover. If you finish a timer early, you keep rewards for the focus time actually saved, but it does not count as a full session for Clover. Breaks and imported activity do not earn acorns. Manual water, stretch, breathing and fresh-air check-ins each earn five acorns once per local calendar day. There is no penalty for missing a day.

This edition currently has Pip and Clover, one cottage and its woodland outside. It has no real-money purchases, paid items or subscriptions. Earlier web purchases do not unlock native content.

How do I connect movement from my watch?

Open World → Movement. Your watch must first sync with Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android through a compatible app. Choose Check availability, then Choose health permissions. When you want to read activity, choose Import the last 7 days. Giving permission alone does not import anything, and there is no background health import.

Fernhour reads steps and completed workouts; it does not record workouts, write to your health store or include a standalone watch app. Imported activity stays on this device and does not earn acorns. If nothing appears, check for available records and permissions in your phone’s health app. Empty results do not necessarily mean permission was denied. You can keep playing without health access and revoke it in your device’s health settings.

Earlier apps and browser game: saves and rewards

In earlier builds with export controls, choose Settings → Export your world to keep a file backup. You can restore that file on another compatible earlier build without an account. Find Take your world with you for its available sign-in options. An account is optional for free play and needed for cloud saves and web purchases. These versions return to the separate guest world on sign-out. Clearing browser or app storage removes local saves. Their save files and cloud worlds are not imported into the new native edition.

The earlier game lets you spend earned acorns on companions, rooms and furniture. Some special furniture is earned through achievements; open its Journal for milestones. These rewards and catalogs differ from the new native edition described above.

How does the Woodland Pack work?

The pack adds five decorations in the earlier web game only. It does not buy extra acorns or focus rewards. The iOS and Android apps have no purchases or paid decorations, including for accounts that own the pack on the web. In earlier editions, your rooms keep their saved layouts, so those decorations can appear again when you return to the web game and restore your purchase. The new native edition does not import those layouts or purchases. Mobile purchases are not available yet.

Its base price is US$4.99 once, with no subscription. When web checkout is available, Dodo Payments offers supported local currencies and payment methods for your location. Review the final total, including any taxes or currency-conversion fees, before paying.

Use the Fernhour account that you want to own the pack. A different billing email at checkout does not move the purchase to another account. After payment, open Settings → Your decorations → Restore purchases in the web game. Your saved-world export remembers layouts, not purchase ownership. An internet connection is needed to restore paid decorations; your arrangements stay saved while they are unavailable.

Need help with a payment or refund?

Email hello@fernhour.com with your receipt or payment reference and the email used for your Fernhour account. Please do not send card details. You can also use Dodo’s purchase support for a receipt or billing query.

The five items are sold together. A successful full or partial refund removes the pack supplied by that purchase. Earned items, acorns and game progress are unaffected. Access may be suspended during a payment dispute. Read our purchase and refund terms before checkout.

Earlier builds: why don’t I see health activity?

In earlier mobile builds that include health access, connecting is optional. Your watch must first sync with Apple Health or Health Connect. For a build that supports health access, check the permissions and available records in your phone’s health app. The browser game does not connect directly to your watch.

Please avoid sending passwords, private health records or your saved-world file unless we have agreed they are needed to investigate your issue.
